Thermwood builds three-axis machining centres in Dale, Indiana, aimed at cabinet shops and millwork producers running nested-based manufacturing. The Cut Center line is sold as a configured installation - bed size, vacuum table, tool changer, control and dust package are specified per order - which is why there is no single model to put a price against.

Who buys a machine at this level

The buyer for this class is a shop that has stopped competing on whether it can make the part and started competing on how many it can make this week. Typically that means a cabinet or millwork business running sheet goods in volume, with someone employed to keep the machine fed.
