How to use the Feed & speed calculator

  2. Enter your flute count, spindle RPM and cut depth.
  3. Read the recommended feed rate - that is the speed to program into your CNC controller.
  4. Keep the chip-load band in range: if it reads high, ease the feed or raise RPM; if it reads low, push a little harder.
