CNC & laser troubleshooting

When a cut goes wrong, the answers are scattered across a dozen forums and locked inside single-brand support portals. This is the independent, brand-agnostic version. Every page takes one symptom, gives you the one or two most common causes up front, then a checklist ordered by how often each is the answer - with the tell that confirms which one you have, and the fix.

The recurring theme: most problems are setup, not hardware - feeds and speeds, focus, hold-down, tuning - and we say plainly when it is genuinely the machine and link the data that proves it.

Most of the fixes here come back to feeds, speeds and the right cutter for the material. The calculator and the material how-to guides are where that lives.
