Buy this if working area is the constraint

What is verified is the motion platform: closed-loop drive, ball screws and profile rails on every axis, which is the expensive part to fix later. Read the score as 'best of what the maker was willing to publish', and budget for a spindle and a table.
If your work fits on a 400 × 300mm bed, the PROVerXL is the better buy and the more honest number. You are getting a fully-documented machine with closed-loop control, and nothing about its score rests on an unknown.
If you genuinely need the larger envelope, the XE-Ultra is the machine - but treat the sticker as a floor rather than the finished cost. It ships without a spindle, and the missing material rating means its ceiling in anything harder than wood is unverified rather than proven.
